I decided to look at some website traffic statistics today for the period July 1, 2005 to June 30, 2006. Here is what I found:
Number of Unique Visitors: 16,053
Total Number of Visitors: 55,699
Total Number of Hits: 256,267
Those are just some gross figures, but they are surprising to me, nevertheless.
