Hi,

Yikes! That IS expensive. The pricing you quote though is not for the book
to which I contributed (*E-journals Access and Management*, Wayne Jones, ed.
and published by Haworth, ISBN 9780789033857) but rather to the following
book: Electronic Resource Management in Libraries: Research and Practice,
Holly Yu and Scott Breivold, eds. (ISBN 9781599048918). It's confusing, I
know. And the wording of my post lends to confusion.

I checked the price of the book to which I contributed (again, it is
*E-journals
Access and Management*, Wayne Jones, ed. and published by Haworth, ISBN
9780789033857), and it isn't cheap either. The cost shown on Amazon is $95.

Either book is pricey, I agree. This gets to the heart of the dilemma of
academic book publishing. The publishing cycle is far too slow and by the
time a book is actually published, the content may be out of date, making
the purchase price somewhat more questionable.

Steve

Steve
