A significant milestone for Brinley and Cohen
In the midst of all the stuff that’s been happening, a significant milestone was reached for Brinley and Cohen. We succeeded in getting rid of their pacifiers! Yeehaw! No more temper tantrums when — as often happened — a pacifier for one or both of them could not be found. No more panicking on trips away from home when we realized that we had forgotten to bring pacifiers. No more photos taken with pacifiers mucking up their little faces. Ahhh, freedom from one of the little but annoying parts of raising little kids. Our house is now officially designated as a Pacifier Free Zone.
Next up? Getting them potty-trained so that we won’t have to change diapers any more. Just thinking about that makes me weak in the knees.
