Fun-filled weekend
We had a lot of fun this weekend, thanks in large part to a visit by my brother, Dan. He suggested we go out to eat at a restaurant Thursday night, and he also came over and made supper Friday night while Michele and the kids were at my in-laws. We watched a bit of Les Misérables as well as Chicken Little. Saturday morning he joined us for a trip to Brookfield Zoo, buying us a family pass for the year. We had a great time, and the weather was perfect: sunny, breezy, and warm. This photo shows an underwater view of one of the dolphins in Brookfield Zoo’s Seven Seas exhibit.
