Mother’s Day
Michele seemed to enjoy the presents we bought for her last night and gave to her this a.m. Keegan and Tristan bought her an electric griddle; Brinley gave her the new Sarah McLachlan CD; and Cohen and I gave her a gift certificate to Kohl’s. We also bought her a pink, lace-topped hydrangea shrub in lieu of flowers. I used the griddle to make breakfast (pancakes, eggs, and bacon). Michele spent the afternoon shopping sans kids, which is a rare treat for her. We didn’t make it to church because we got up too late.
