Keegan’s adoption final!
Yesterday was a real, red letter day for the Oberg household as it was the day when, after months and months of waiting, my adoption of Keegan as my son was finally complete. In the morning we met with the local judge at the county courthouse, he signed and approved the petition for adoption, and that was it. I am really happy and proud that now Keegan is as much my child in the eyes of the law as Tristan or Brinley. To celebrate, we went out to eat last night and bought Keegan his first game for his new GameBoy Advance SP, which he got in the mail on Monday. He was pretty excited. Today promises to be another beautiful, warm day. I’m glad, because it helps lift my spirits when the weather is so nice and warm.
